Lottie is an eighteen-year-old from Germany traveling abroad with the aspiration to become an English teacher.She's standoffish and likes to stay in her lane, but it's not hard to get her talking.After a chance encounter with Raidou, she lingers around Narumi's detective agency whenever she's free and likes to help out with cases using gossip she hears on campus.Despite studying as much as she can, she still struggles to speak Japanese from time to time.Her birthday is October 12th!Allergic to cats, scared of Gouto (unrelated)

Lottie met Raidou through a chance encounter, like having been saved by him after being unknowingly targeted by a demon. Lottie has literally 0 idea what really happened bc her memory is foggy from that night and normal people can't see demons, but Lottie at least is sure that Raidou had saved her. so she lingers around the detective agency often. At first, it started with little gifts as an apology for having to get him involved with whatever happened that night, but eventually, she started hanging around just because she felt she and him had become friends.before Lottie had met Raidou and started hanging around him much, she was putting off her studies on Japanese, as in the language, to focus on other stuff. She really only knew enough to make it easier to live there for the time being but not enough to be considered fluent in it. Though, once she gets closer to him she suddenly has a renewed interest in it. truthfully,, she starts to harbor a little crush on him, but wants to be able to confess 'properly'. so, she starts to study in secret, and shes on that grind HARDI don't know how long the events of soulless army are in universe, but I wanna just guess it was at least a few months or something. Like Lottie and Raidou meet before Kaya makes her call and are pretty friendly with each other up to that point. She's starting to want to heavily focus on studying Japanese but, once the case of the red capes start, Lottie begins to see less of him. Only really passing glances. She always makes an effort to swing by the agency, always trying to poke and prod at Narumi, even Tae if their visits align, to see if he'll spill something but he never budges. It gets to the point where Lottie doesn't even visit at all anymore, trying to use the excuse of the constant cable car trips being far too expensive. Yet she still keeps up her studies, she still dreams of showing off the fruits of her labor eventually, she still wishes to confess to raidou. maybe like,, the soulless god is defeated and Kaya is rescued, it's quiet around the agency again so Narumi shoots Lottie a call saying Raidou would like to see her, he knows full well that's what all the questioning was for weeks prior- even if she tried her best to hide it. maybe like before Lottie gets there Narumi chastises Raidou for 'playing with a ladies' heart' and tells him to be sure to apologize, preferably away from the agency because he 'knows how women can get' Raidou offers to take Lottie to that ice cream parlor and apologizes for his disappearance over sundaes,, where Lottie then blurts out that she loves him, all the anxiety for this very moment just pours out of her through hurried words and a red face. she like hides behind her hands and struggles to take a breath, to which he softly takes hold of her wrists and eases her hands away. maybe he's more focused on the actual confession and doesn't even realize at first that that language barrier had suddenly disappeared,, until Lottie finally gets mad at him for not noticing her dedication to confessing properly
Lottie helps Raidou trim his sideburns and the first few times she does it his sideburns are uneven because she took off too much but he still lets her keep trying (he ignores anyone who asks about why his cut is fucked) And it takes like months for her to get it right but he never says anything"do you like it honey βΊοΈ""(through tears) yes dear"--I love listening to old music and just thinking about Raidou softly moving along with the music. a simple indulgence and sense of normalcy that wouldn't be a big deal to most but means a lot to him considering how normal his life isnt yk? just having the time to put on a jazz record he borrowed from Narumi and sway along, humming to it.but just like idk Raidou in his white button up and his uniform pants, his hat left to a side table, dancing with Lottie as that jazz record quietly plays. neither of them know how to dance, both stepping on the other's toes from time to time, but they cherish the fleeting moments they have in each other's arms. Raidou doing that stupid dip thing while Lottie giggles, confident that he would never drop her.--I consider them both too young to be married, so I think they'd have promise rings instead. Just like with Valentine's or other similar holidays, Raidou doesn't entirely understand the need for it, but he knows it matters to Lottie. He'd get them matching bands adorned with a rose quartz gem. Raidou gifts to her by getting down on one knee- he still doesn't quite get the tradition. Stifled laughs and red faces, she pulls him back up and litters his face with kisses, happily accepting her ring.
